Angus Baker, MD

Dr. Angus Baker is board certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, as well as Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology. He received a BS from Davidson College and a MD from MUSC. Dr. Baker also trained at Vanderbilt University in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology.  

Robert Scott Lake, MD

Dr. Lake is board certified in Internal Medicine and Palliative Medicine. He received a BS from Hampden-Sydney College and a MD from Tulane University. He completed his residency and internship from Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke's.  

Beth Wolf, MD

Dr. Beth Wolf is board certified in Palliative Medicine and Internal Medicine.  She received a BS from Drake University, a Medical Degree from the University of South Dakota and completed residency at Moses H. Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC.  Prior to becoming certified in Palliative Medicine she practiced for 9 years as a Hospitalist (Hospital-based Internist). 

Amy Emslie, NP
Nurse Practitioner

Amy Emslie earned her BS and MS in nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina. She is an ANCC certified Adult Nurse Practitioner and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.

 
Amy McDevitt, NP
Nurse Practitioner

Amy McDevitt earned a BS in Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia and MS from MUSC. She is board certified in Adult Health and Palliative Medicine. She completed a fellowship in Pain and Palliative Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York.

Mariko Geffert, LMSW
Social Worker

Mariko Geffert earned a BA from Clemson University in Psychology and a masters degree in Social Work from USC. She serves as a licensed social worker for the Palliative Care team providing psychosocial support to patients, families and caregivers who are facing issues associated with a life-limiting illness.
