The Roper St. Francis Sleep/Wake Disorder Center, located at Roper Hospital, helps you get the rest you need. Currently the area's only sleep center accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the center offers specialized equipment to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.
A Sleep Center evaluation involves an in-depth interview with a board certified sleep specialist to discuss your sleep complaints, review your medical history and perform a physical examination. Following this evaluation, testing in the sleep center may be necessary.
Our sleep specialists work closely with your referring primary doctor to review test results and recommendations for treatment or further evaluations. Following treatment, our clinical coordinator will continue to provide ongoing follow-up, support, and educational programs.
The Sleep/Wake Disorder Center at Roper Hospital offers both advanced technology and modern comfort, including six private rooms with private bathrooms and queen size comfort select beds for testing. For your convenience, Roper Hospital also offers a testing facility at Roper Hospital - Berkeley in Moncks Corner.
