The Roper St. Francis Healthcare Green Team is a multi-disciplinary group of employees who have come together to provide & facilitate ideas and solutions to help improve the ecological well-being of our community without compromising patient safety or care. Members of the Green Team come from all areas of RSFH including but not limited to Nursing, Environmental Services, Purchasing, Marketing, Biomed and Mission. of its total waste. This includes 1,100 tons of paper,
cardboard, plastic and glass bottles, aluminum cans
and batteries recycled each year.
