We need your support for the creation of a new, full-service hospital to serve the growing healthcare needs of your community. Currently Berkeley County is one of only five counties in the state without a hospital. Timeline to Your New Hospital
Trident says it plans to appeal the decision by the Administrative Law court. Roper St. Francis looks forward to bringing our much needed hospital to the people of Berkeley County and we own land that is ready and waiting for construction. Trident’s newest appeal could once again, prevent the people of Berkeley County from getting ANY hospital and it could go on for years still. If the State (DHEC) says two hospitals are needed and the Administrative Law judge says two hospitals can be supported than everyone should be able to put their differences aside to permit the building of the hospitals that have been promised to Berkeley County.
