Teenagers can make a difference, too. Roper St. Francis Healthcare's Teen Volunteer program is designed for mature teenagers between the ages of 14 and 18. Volunteering at a hospital is a rewarding, but serious responsibility. Because of the training and orientation process involved, hospitals should not be considered as simply a place to earn assigned community service hours. If you are planning a medical career or are interested in hospital volunteerism on a regular basis (a minimum of 50 hours), please call early in the year for information about our summer Teen Volunteer Program.
