"Hands Across the Water"
For our annual global service project, "Hands Across the Water," Roper St. Francis Healthcare will be raising money to fund the shipment of a container of medical supplies and equipment to Plateau Mission Hospital in Kenya, Africa.
In 2009, RSFH employees, physicians and volunteers raised more than $35,000 to provide a safe water system for the Plateau Mission Hospital, Plateau Primary School and Plateau Community.
Thanks to the generosity of our RSFH family, more than 3,000 Plateau physicians, nurses, patients and locals now have an opportunity to receive sustainable, safe water every day.
This year, RSFH will refocus its efforts on Kenya with the goal of shipping approximately $150,000 of refurbished medical equipment and supplies to the Plateau Mission Hospital.
With your help, we can once again make a huge difference in the health and care of our friends living in the Plateau Community.
Fundraising Goal: $25,000
How to Help:
Send gifts of cash or checks to the Pastoral Care Departments at Roper, St. Francis and Mount Pleasant hospitals. Please make checks payable to: Medshare. In addition, you can donate online by visiting: http://medshare.donorpages.com/PlateauMissionHospital/plateau/
