What to Know About Chest Pain

Many things can cause chest pain. It may come from a problem in the heart, lungs, stomach, bowel, or muscles and bones of the chest wall. Some causes are serious or life threatening, but many others are not. You may or may not experience other symptoms besides chest pain, depending on the cause.
